A bit of a reboot

Zen monk sitting on a temple porch

Welcome - or welcome back. For the past 15 years or so, I've blogged about Zen and Buddhism in general, sharing insights and reflections as my practice evolved. However, this site was offline for a couple of years. What was originally supposed to be a short break as I transitioned platforms turned into an extended hiatus as life took me in another direction for a while.

But here we are now - not on schedule, but still present. I've rebuilt the site, bringing back the same array of resources as before while adding some new ones as I discover them. In the process, I have also been revisiting some of my personal writings on Buddhism, mostly from my old blog renegadebuddha.com, and migrating select pieces to this site.

Looking ahead, I'll continue to add Dogen and Zen-related content suitable for both newcomers and experienced practitioners alike. And when the need arises, I'll mix in the occasional personal update. My hope is that whether you're here to start or deepen your meditation practice, explore Zen philosophy, or study Dogen's life and teachings, this site will serve as a valuable - or at least relatable - resource for your journey.

Thanks for reading, and for being part of this continuing exploration.
